VO comic list update

The VO comic database is now sitting at over 1600 entries and counting! It's the most complete vampire-specific comic database there is. Trust me on this one! There are a few gaping holes still left to fill, as it's missing entries from the likes of Buffy, Angel, Anne Rice's vampires, Vampire the Masquerade, and Morbius. But at this point, its a pretty detailed database of vamp comics spanning about 60 years.

Currently, we're working on first getting the entries as up to date as possible, and then adding the missing titles. This includes adding cover images, and I would estimate that about 25% of the entries now have them.

Of course, if you happen to notice an error on a comic page, or have info to help make it complete, you can use the handy 'add new comment' link found on each page, and let us know.

The Bat in NatureIndigenous to Central and South America, vampire bats live in a very strong social culture. The develop bonds with other bats in the colony, and learn to recognize each other through sound and scent. Vampire bats tend to live in caves, trees, or buildings. Their colonies can reach numbers of up to 2000 bats, but most colonies tend to house approximately 100 bats.
Blood has been a symbol of life since very ancient times. The blood in our veins has always been iconic of our continuing life. To lose too much blood is to lose consciousness, breath, and eventually, our very lives. If a person or animal is already dead and is cut open, blood does not flow. Only the living have blood that flows. Blood has been used throughout the ages as a ceremonial sacrifice.
