The latest anti-aging craze from Europe involves injecting your face with your own blood. I kid you not. Some crackpot "cosmetic doctor" draws your blood, separates it into components, adds vitamins and amino acids, and then re-injects it into your face.
At $800 a pop, I suppose it's a cheaper alternative to standard cosmetic surgery. But really, can this kind of thing even work? Would be interested in a long term study of this.
