Anne Rice, the Queen of Vampire Literature is advancing fast through the technology age by releasing her short story, The Master of Rambling Gate, as a video book on Vook. The short story is set in a 19th century English Mansion. The owner of the mansion dies and leaves the property and home to his son and daughter. But, the father leaves explicit instructs to burn the mansion to the ground when he died. The siblings came to visit the home and was shocked and fell in love with the mansion instantly. They had always believed their father to be insane and could not believe he would want a thing done. They begin to stay in the 400 year old property and find that everyone around loves it as much as they do. One night the daughter awakes and goes down to find a mysterious stranger who instantly mesmerizes her. She is spellbound by the same man as her father. When she tries to explain what she saw to her brother she is instantly scoffed at and disregarded as insane like her father. The story, that was first published in Redbook in 1985, will be released on March 1st on the new Vook Format. Vook is a new format for those readers that love the internet.
