Very well written diary of a normal, everyday doctor who becomes a vampire hunter/slayer by unfortunate circumstances that ignite a fire for revenge. The visual descriptions of places and time periods are very vivid and draw you right into the woods of Transylvania and the fog shrouded streets of 1880's London. Inventive tie in to Jack the Ripper. Only complaint? Too short and I wanted more.
