Tru Blood: the Beverage

Omni Consumer Products "Tru Blood"

Soon fans will be able to purchase the same artificial blood product that the vampires consume on HBO's True Blood. Sort of. 

This new beverage will of course not contain any real or artificial blood products, but will certainly resemble a bottle of "Tru Blood" from the HBO series.

Should be hitting store shelves this September.



Hunedoara Castle now open to the public

Dracula's castle -- actually Hunedoara Castle, where the father of Vlad III (also known as the Vlad The Impaler) was imprisoned for seven years -- opened to the public on June 1st. It is located in Transylvania, Romania and is under the management of Princess Ileana of Romania and her family.



Teenage 'vampire' in knife rampage

A teenager who previously told Ipswich Magistrates Court she wanted to be a vampire has pleaded guilty to a violent, knife-wielding rampage. The Ipswich District Court heard Kayler Rose Maree Scott, 19, carved the word "kill" into a wall during an attack in which she also held a smashed bottle to her aunt's neck.
