We are all used to the cell phone wars between Verizon and AT &T. Well, Verizon has jumped on the vampire craze- more specifically the Twilight hype and has created their own vampire commercial.
The commercial is loosely based on the woods scene in Twilight. Sebastian, is the vampire and his lovely human girlfriend asks him to "make her his, forever'. He leans over to kiss her and the AT&T coverage map pops up. He replies "Forever is a long time to wait on slow music downloads... ". He then runs to a group of teen girls (with the Verizon coverage map over their head) and leaves her with a wolf that is very interested in her.
So, is this a good marketing plan? Does Verizon feel that this may pull a lot of the Twilight fans to change or are they just wanting the media hype that this will cause?
So, Twilight fans in the area- would you switch your coverage because of this commercial?
What about the Anti- Twilighter - would this keep you from switching?
